The Fishbowl Challenge is an international business plann competition and accelerator program based in Palo Alto, California. We work with students from around the world to help them build tech-powered social ventures to affect social change. We’ve reached over 2000 students from over 90 countries to date, and invested +$100K in pre-seed enterprises—everything from maternal health-tech in Nigeria to solar-powered ag-tech in Ghana. 

 

Our founding team is made of renowned industry veterans from Google, as well as young professionals from Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and the US, supported by a seasoned and diverse team of mentors. Our goal is to empower young entrepreneurs to create global social impact through business.

We are now launching our first summer high school program to support the growth and development of high school youth across the Americas. For summer 2022, we are launching a 1 month long virtual program for a cohort of ~30 students to learn the fundamentals of business, how social impact interlaces with business development, and to participate in a mini-competition of their own ideas! 

 

We are actively seeking a part-time Education Project Manager who can work 20 hours per week to join us from September 2021 and play a pivotal role in bringing the program to life!

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the design/development of the Splash Lab program - our flagship social venture builder program for high school students, modelled after the Fishbowl Challenge. 

  • Design the Splash Lab curriculum packet 

  • Develop an execution strategy for the virtual program including delivery technology, timeline, facilitation proposals, marketing plan, and other additional logistics

  • Drive project management efforts to ensure successful delivery of the 2022 summer program to be announced before the end of the year  
     

Requirements​

​​

  • 1-2 years of experience in learning experience design and/or curriculum development. 

  • Experience managing projects from start to finish 

  • Strong interest in entrepreneurship and social impact. 

  • Strong management and organizational skills. 

  • A keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. 

  • Most importantly - passion for social entrepreneurship.
